Lita shouldn't have started today. As far as I'm concerned he should've been 4th choice striker based on Winnall's, Hemmings & Cole's recent performances. He offered absolutely nothing & was lucky that Abbott had a shocker & that Hemmings hasn't got 90 minutes in him yet otherwise I'm sure he would've been taken off much earlier.

Abbott was poor. I don't think he should've started today. He had a good couple of games but has faded since. I felt either Digby should've got the nod or Berry should've been moved inside. I think Abbott has the ability to make it though, with youngsters it's good to dip them in & out of the first team.

Defensively Brown isn't good enough to play right back at this level. I've felt it for a while but getting two assists against Gillingham papered over the cracks.

Jennings had a shocker. Occasionally he puts in a good cross but let's be honest he's got one trick & that's cutting in from the left & hitting it which makes playing him on the right a complete waste of time.

Fully behind Wilson though & I'm sure we'll learn from today.

For Tuesday I'd like to see Bree in for Brown, Bailey (if fit) in for Abbott & Lita dropped for either Winnall or Cole.

Winnall and Cole must start for me. Bree for Brown and hopefully Treacy fit to replace Jennings. Bailey for Abbott too if fit.

Up front DW keeps going on about another option - a big hold up bloke - and I think he's right.

Today it wasn't so obvious. But Lita and Hemmings were sub standard. Today.

Trouble is that we haven't seen all these new uns long enough to know if they will end up substandard.

At one time I thought Kevin Betsy was our best player. Yes he was!

DW's record is (IMHO) wobbly. So I'll tell ya what we need

We need a clogger - a presence - a nasty type in midfield. A voice

    And a right back

    We don't need a Dawson.

    Our midfield's fine.

Bailey & Hourihane are quality league one central midfielders.

Berry's meant to be a centre mid than wide mid & Digby & Abbott will only get better with games.

I was asking if that is what he meant rather than suggesting it.

Just saying his name in a sentence that doesn't include the words **** and clogger is enough to guarantee you some abuse.

Its Saturday night and many BBSers are drowning their sorrows so you might just get away with it. ;)
