Has he any idea how to tackle.Worse than Wiseman in both defence and attack. Time for young Bree.

Being played out of position isn't helping him.

He needs a go at centre half for me. Won't be a full back as long as he's got a hole in his arse. That said, he's probably set more goals up than anyone else for us this season.

Brown had a very poor game today but he has strengths; he's good in the air and boosts our overall physical presence (set plays, in defence and attack). He struggles when players have a run at him or get him turning. Probably a square peg in a round hole, but he does make some positive contributions, to say otherwise is just plain wrong.

The lad looked bad today I do agree but I also think he is a great player. He's being played at RB and that's not his position, he's a CB and if played there he would shine. Today he also got no help from Young Berry in front of him..... He for me is not a RM/RW he's a CM. This is what the problem, Danny playing a few players in positions that they are not comfortable or no good in which are now making them look poor. Basically play Brown at CB or not at all and go out and get a RB in ASAP.

Agree with your post apart from this^^, Jennings played on the right for quite a lot of the time (certainly when the damage was being done).

Looked class preseason and first couple of games but absolute shocker today... Backed off... IMHO bring Ramage back on loan, play Crainie at right back

Think the heads of some posters on here would explode if we replaced a non-specialist right back with a non-specialist right back. Agree something needs to be done though - full back areas are looking an absolute liability at the moment.

Cranie has played at full back plenty in his career. I've thought all along that he should be playing there, Brown at CB.

He had a shocker today, and had a shocker at Yeovil. Both games he was paced relentlessly, stood off his man and basically gave them the freedom to dance into the box and square it. Whether it's his natural position or not, he's a defender and should know when to stand off his man and when to put in a challenge. Didn't have a clue today.

However, I will say that both games he was given no protection by Jennings. Berry tracks back occasionally but Jennings managed not to do this, as well as offering nothing up front. Not making excuses for Brown but he doesn't exactly get a lot of help from the man in front of him.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Cranie put out to RB and Brown plonked in the centre. Cranie has looked good at CB but Brown would add a more physical presence, in his natural position, and we know Cranie can play RB. No brainer for me.
