    Public sector you still get paid sick pay and decent pensions though, not many people leave.

    Agree with this. Although comparing wages with mates etc, they mainly get paid a much better rate than me to balance this argument out.

    Kind of agree with this, but most of the people who have left, haven't regretted it.

    fekking council was always the same when thereev as there....brown noses or young birds sleeping with bosses for promotion etc etc....only way you could get on.

    run by a set of clowns who simply insert the brown nose brigade just below em and carry on from there.

    councils' are corrupt to the core and i worked for three...all the same.
