Why are we playing on a Wednesday this week?

    It's probably been posted already but I must have missed the reason.

    Until something was posted on here yesterday I was fully expecting us to play tomorrow night.

    Was just thinking the same myself, and until 5 minutes ago, when I checked the fixture list, I also thought our game was on Tuesday. They're allus Tuesday aren't they?

    Because Fleetwood play their midweek home games on a Wednesday I guess.

    Blackpool are at home on Tuesday, and I suspect that Blackpool and Preston don't have home games in the same week.

    I presume it's to do with Blackpool playing at home Tuesday.

    When the fixtures are done I believe every team is partnered with a rival so that they don't both play at home on the same weekend. I assume then that Blackpool is partnered with Preston rather than Fleetwood which would make sense I suppose. We're partnered with Doncaster I believe.
