Re: Another important question Ah There is a very good point. Was BBC Reporting on the miners strike unbiased and fair. I can remember as a 25 year old watching at the time but TBH I would not like to comment on what I know nothing about. I do know that not very long ago issues were raised about a police horse charge and indescriminate baton waving by the mounted police and reporting not being fair. Is this true?
They go to the reporter and NO supporters are in the back ground. Just watch what happens when some maggot pulls the plug. Ps. When theyre in the newsroom look in the background. You will see that the feed is lost in the studio
Re: Another important question One incident in particular although there were many.was at orgreave couple of days before the mass picket(we in Yorkshire had the çonfrontations weeks before the day they show on TV) we were stood a few yards from the police lines, nothing was doing no lorries coming in or anything, when all of a sudden the police lines opened up and riot police came out charged us with Barton's flailing then retreated taking quite a few of our colleagues back with them arrested.. As we weren't expecting this our response came quite a few moments later when we charged at the police lines giving almost as good as we got. When I got home that evening the news footage was unbelievable it showed the charge of the pickets first then the police baton charge as if it was a response from the latter and on it were a couple of lads from our colliery who were stood with us who hadn't got a violent bone in their body with blood gushing from head wounds. I could tell you some right tales mate
Re: Another important question So nothing changes. BBC still reporting twisted lies. Apparently a huge crowd 3 or 4 thousand strong has surrounded BBC studios in Glasgow protesting over bad reporting by Nick Robinson. Lying Toad.
Re: Another important question ANYONE who thinks that the BBC are un biased are totally deluded.. They are as corrupt as the political party they pander too FACT !!!! Wake up and smell the coffee..!!!"
Honestly I couldn't give a ****. Having thought about it in the grand scheme of things wether the skirt wearing folk up north say yes or no will mean next to nothing in how it impacts my life.
its just like the tabloid press innit mate you can here biased reports against the Tories if you read the Mirror... but go with the Sun and its against Labour
