Grateful for a point against Fleetwood. Chuffin Fleetwood.

Sums up how bad things have become. The rot set in under the berk and our standards have sunk lower and lower. We will probably see it as a positive if we end up finishing 20th.

    ??????

Fleetwood a strong team in this division.

We have a youthful & as yet half baked team.

0-0 away draw after conceding 5 at home on Saturday has to be good?

I can see the same situation, Conan. Didn't go tonight, so no idea if we were playing hoofball again. It doesn't work.

Not going to resort to calling Wilson a berk just yet though. Give it another 6/7 games first.

    Berk = Keith Hill.

That's when the rot set in.

    No worries.

I think he came in and started lowering standards/expectations from day one. We haven't looked back since then.

'Kinell. Imagine getting stuffed at Rochdale. Kennedy and Dawson both having blinders to boot.

Think it would be the worst experience EVER in my time watching BFC.

Kennedy can't get in the side at the moment and Dawson is playing remarkably well in a new role just off the front men, which inc. top scorer Matt Done. That Keith Hill really is a berk.

No doubt in my mind, Keith Hill and his regime change directly influenced where we are now.

I think the club has developed a long term plan to get us into a better position on and off the field, so we do need some patienec to deliver this plan.

But for me, Keith Hill was an absolute disaster at BFC........and to get back to the OP, getting a point at Fleetwood is actually acceptable for our current status / position......but we should have never been in this position in the first place!

Aye. Forgot the ubiquitous Matty Done... He'll get a hat trick, no doubt.

P.S. We don't want Kennedy back either :D

For the millionth time, does Hill deserve credit for the way Flitcroft kept you up? If not, he can't be blamed for this now. It doesn't work both ways.

The minute Flitcroft rightly received the support off your fanbase for that remarkable escape and got the job fulltime and built his own squad, Hill ceases to become an issue.

    Edit: in reply to Pasta

Hero at Rochdale. Zero at Oakwell.

Terrible crowd and fans who do go regularly are concerned. Hill and his players deserve much better backing. Could have been 6/7/8 last night.

The pair were a disaster. And no doubt emerged much better off having saddled BFC with tripe they've since signed again
    Strange that

Much as I dislike the guy. We did lose 3 quality midfielders in a 2 week period, who for one reason or another were never replaced. That's when it went downhill for King Keef. Didn't help himself with some of the outspoken comments he made about the club and supporters though.

Looks like your maths aint too good, as looking at your post number of 266, you are a long way off your quoted "millionth time".

And by the way, you are wrong.

When Flitcroft managed to keep BFC up, he changed the tactics, team formation and players. He instilled belief into the squad and he spoke positively about the Club and the fan base. In fact the fan base, did truly become the 12th man. He managed to create a small miracle and we will always thank him for that, despite his many errors the follwoing season. Keith Hill could not do that......he proved time and time again that he could not do that.

The vast majority of BFC fans feel that Keith Hill "set the rot in".

I will be across to Spotland in a few weeks and I am a supporter who does not really give a to55 about ex-players and managers, who clealry do not give a toss about BFC (in fact some of them did not give a toss about BF whilst they were at the club). You will not find me booing and jeering the likes of Done, Dawson, Keith Hill, etc. I would rather use my energy and voice for positively supporting the current BFC team and management.

Anyway, just to confirm again......you are wrong. OK ?

We've just got a point, a clean sheet away from home (we're unbeaten away), we're mid table after a complete rebuild of the playing staff, we're only 7 games into a 46 game campaign. We're not in financial trouble, far from it. Off the pitch, we're as good as we've been for years. We're getting decent home gates, as good as last season in the division above. We're taking more fans away than we did last season. We've only lost twice, and we've not really played well in most of the games.

I really see little to whinge about. I certainly don't see what the **** Keith Hill has to do with owt. He left in December 2012, that's nearly two years ago. We've had two managers since then.

    Whitey, correct......well almost correct.

The OP from Conan did make reference to "the berk", which is why my post content continued with that theme.

Do agree we are on a much better path now, as I said in my post.

The rot set in, yet Flitcroft changed it all as you say. There is my point.
