In Danny's second spell. No matter how many excuses you throw at it, it's not reight good. I'm not by any stretch advocating we get rid of him but I'm struggling to see any positives at this stage. I don't see how we are building for the future. Yes the players are young, but there's little to suggest so far that many of them have the qualities for this level. My minimum requirement for this season was sixth. That looks a long way off at the moment.
seriously do you write down on paper before you post nonsense like this or even say it through in your head. You need to do that.
Re: seriously do you write down on paper before you post nonsense like this You haven't been since 1997 so your opinion doesn't count. Why don't you start a separate thread marked for my attention saying that you had a season ticket in 1972?
To be fair, last season he inherited a load of *****, so really last season's games shouldn't count. He should be judged on this season, and his own squad which he has built pre season. So far it's been disappointing, but then again i have only been to the Crawley, Yeovil and Mk Dons games. Come the end of October, early November, we will have a better idea of how the season will turn out for us.
Re: seriously do you write down on paper before you post nonsense like this Bloody Hell I didn't realize that statistic! Very poor but still early days with the revamped squad we have. Tomorrow is the ideal opportunity to put 3 points on the board against a managerless club in turmoil after a poor string off results. Lets for once be positive and get at them from the 1st minute. Anything less than 3 points tomorrow will imo be very disappointing. COYR
So you don't put them into any context or have aspirations for the team? Still, as long we've still got a club eh?
I'm creased up! Did you convey this minimum requirement to Danny and the boys before the season started
you are so clueless FYI my last season ticket finished in 2007..... my first was bought in 1971... I have attended around 75% of our home game from 1961 to 2007.... I still have all my season ticket books if you really want proof...... so tell me exactly how many home games have you attended. Also have you held a season ticket for over 25 years .... no thowt not. So Do not even go any where near telling ME that I have no right to comment on a team that I have followed for over 50 years, have you been to a league match at Worksop town, Halifax, Barrow ... no thowt not.. I bet you aint even attended when the likes of Cambridge, Mansfield, Luton,Wrexham or Grimsby were in the same division as us.
Re: you are so clueless FYI How does any of that qualify you to comment on what is happening in 2014? Disappointed you didn't put that in a separate thread. When did we play Worksop in a league match btw?
I didn't have "minimum requirements". And if I did, I wouldn't be throwing my teddy out of the cot at 6 games in. Looking at the changes over the summer, I'd say a realistic hope is top half, with a view to push for promotion next season. But things change. Ask me again at Christmas.
I disagree that Conan is throwing his teddy out of the cot. The title of the thread "Four Wins In Sixteen League Games" is a very valid point and one which I was not aware off. It makes grim reading but tomorrow i'm hoping for 5 wins out of 17 games
