Sorry Thereev, but update due Haulage contractor missing gear and spare wheel off one of wagons. Local lad with timber missing some and on 24 hr alert. This is at present. Most gear goes missing when they move, they come back for it and shift it straight on. Fukcng scum
and all they authorities do is move em on and the lawless cycle continues if i had nicked the stuff i would be looking at fair sized custodial sentence and / or fine ffs. this lot are just let off again and again #wrongonallcounts
i don't live in jump but know some nice people who do...and the school is regularly rated as outstanding by ofsted. last thing they need is the pikeys there for a considerable amount of time.....no doubt the school will be next to be robbed.
Pikeys update....waggons are rolling out as I write.... has made me chuckle a bit this week, a few jumpers who aint done a days work in their lives calling em scum etc. I know pikeys are a lawless band of dodgepots but theyre not scared of graft and dont screw the state for all it can. (Well not that much)
I hope you are not referring to me mate, I worked all my life and finished with my own business. These so called grafters are not gypsies. They are scum who travel round picking up what they can steal and pushing it on. They supposedly cut trees but overcharge and are not capable of finishing the job. Their bank balance is horses, moved on in bets and gambling, or to the knackers yard. They have no tax problems because they do not pay any. They steal to order. Want a new caravan cheap? They pinch it from a driveway and deliver in the hour. It goes on and on as they move from area to area. Glad to here they are moving out, probably back up to Locke Park
Agree mate, about the pikeys, awful folk. But a lot of my family is from jump and ive spent a lot of years there and u gotta admit, theres a few who dont work and will never (like everywhere i suppose). But majority are top folk, and will help anyone, but over last few years ive seen a rise in crap coming into the village that seem to have been displaced from other areas and its unfair. My grandma lived on arundel view all her life and it was a lovely street but its gone downhill with certain familys

Ok, maybe not racist per se, but it is used as a derogatory term and completely unnecessary in the context of the thread.
Are derogatory terms now banned. How else can you describe lowlifes who steal to order without being derogatory? Scroats, scumbags, pikeys - all derogatory terms but who cares?
'Pikey' is an offensive term aimed specifically at the traveller community. There's no need to shoehorn it into everyday conversation to try and make it an acceptable phrase, in the way that paki and ****** were in the 70s. Scroats and scumbags are none specific terms that can be applied to any race, creed or colour, therefore do not carry the same negative demographic stereotyping. So some of us do care.
Probably people who are fed up at what these travellers are doing to the environment and communities every time they settle and want something doing about it in a permanent solution that's suits all parties, but doesn't want people!e categorised for derogatory. Comments or racist bigots to air their vile propoganda .
