I know I am. It's going to take a year or two's patience though. Was always going to be the case. Who's up for it?
Agreed mate. We were always going to have our ups and downs with such a young team. Just missing a few players in key positions and a bit of experience. The thing required the most is realism, time, patience and support
Yep. I think the main thing we are missing us experience, game time, togetherness. Only solution is time . The way I see it, you can either be sensible and get behind them, or be a dick.
I agree to a point. I never expected a promotion push this season at all and would be happy with mid table. What I didn't expect was a relegation battle. Looking at the games coming up I reckon we're going to be down there with the pressure on yet again. We need a win and quickly to raise everyone's spirits, players and fans.
I'm not saying we're in one now. I'm saying we have some tough games coming up and if we don't start winning soon we could easily be in one.
Who are the "get behind the lads" supporters? Is it the people that were jeering Davis throughout the MK game? Is it the people that were giving Brown abuse at the MK and Fleetwood games, Is it the people constantly on Jennings back? Or is it the three quarters of supporters that left before the end of the MK game? Oakwell is now getting hostile to our own team and I detect very little patience in getting the team up and running. Bit harsh to criticise supporters that left before the end of the MK game. I went when the 5th went in. I didn't boo, or hollow, or shout abuse. I just didnt see much point staying for the final 10 minutes of a game we were losing 5-0. Does that make me a bad fan? - so be it.
What do you think the players think when they see a mass exodus before the end? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
"Oh ****, look at them all going. We must have been proper **** today. We'll have to make sure we put a top performance in next time out"?
More like" well that's the part timers gone, just left with the proper supporters now." Bingo! 3 goals. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
100% agree with you about Oakwell getting hostile. The jeering against Davis in the MK game was definitely affecting him. To contrast that at Fleetwood he was my MOM - he had a very strong performance and kept us in the game.
Aye thats what they thought. They turned up saw a lot of paying customers and thought "**** this! I refuse to put any effort in until theyve gone home.."
I'm still backing Danny but my patience won't last forever, not if the performances at the very least don't improve. I stayed until the bitter end against MK Dons and halfheartedly applauded the players at the end but some of my posts on here would be frowned upon by some because they're not 100% positive.
The reports I got from two people at Fleetwood were that it was a boring game but Davies did his best to make sure we lost it. Having said that they are both idiots
Need a target man in team, Cole started last 2 games and not had same effect as he does as a substitute. Lita is shocking and just strolling about. 2 wingers doesn't work either makes us too open in centre midfield
