To have your other half on Facebook?

Or to publicly announce your relationship status on Facebook?

I'd say no to both, but apparently I'm wrong. it's just f*cking Facebook.

    1. Not really.

    2. If you do have them on, you'd damn well best make sure you're showing your relationship status otherwise she'll want to know what you're playing at!

    Why?

    What's the big deal?

People have an unhealthy obsession with Facebook. It's like electronic crack to them.

    Get ****ing life.

    Is Facebook important? No.

Is anything posted on Facebook important? No.

(I got rid of mine 18 months ago. It was a very good decision).

Haven't used it in about 12 months. Doubt I'll use it again. Just annoys me.

    Got r lass on there.

Doesn't bother me one way or the other. I've got nowt to hide so no problem having her on there.

Don't go on Facebook as much as I used to but it has it's uses. Was a good laugh reading all the plastic Man Utd fans change from delight to desperation inside an hour & watching my mates chuck icey water over there heads was a laugh.

Block all the game requests & it's not too bad

Facebook is decent if you use it for the right reasons.

Telling the world you have a girlfriend/ boyfriend in your status has its obvious downfalls, and those are multiplied with the amount of information you present, (if it goes belly-up).

People who live their every mood & emotion by facebook are going to come a cropper or look daft at some point.

I use it for having a bit of banter with mates, and communicating with folks I don't see on a day to day basis. Found it useful in keeping up with faraway friends etc.

I basically don't post anything I'd not want my other half, my kids or my boss to see.

Some of the stuff some people put on Facebook is hilarious, one of my family members tagged her son and his girlfriend in a status to ask them if they still had the sh*ts.

Facebook, what's that then? I (reluctantly) got a facebook page years back after pressure from the other half and her side of the family. I put a few photos up, and don't think I've used it more than twice in the last 6years or so. People need to get a f...ing life.

i've been with our lass for 5 years ish. i'm still single on Facebook, and up to about 3 months ago she wasn't even a friend. only reason i added her is because we had a little boy, and we agreed we should be...though i'm still not sure why.

your choice innit. you see some people update their status to 'in a relationship', after they've been on a date. bit weird if you ask me.
