    BIG DILEMMA!!

My daughter plays for Shaw Lane ladies, and just found out an old team-mate is part of the Aquaforce setup.

However, I am a big believer in the way the Rec go about things, and can't stand blue and white striped shirts!

So which way do I go tonight?

Be 150-200 Reccers going. Trouble is 1/2 have tag fitted which goes off at 9.30 so can't get back t'north or t'south in time!

1-1 good game plenty of chances for both sides. Maybe Rec had 1st half, Aquaforce had 2nd. Good crowd. Great value at £2--OAP price!

Agree with the report. Rec easily the better in the first half. Wanted it more.

Second half Rec dropped too deep and were under a lot of pressure. Saying that I think Rec keeper should have done better with the goal. He had time to judge the flight.

Saying that, he kept them in it with a coupleof good saves to keep Rec in it

    One downside at the end.

Whose right Idea was it to close the pedestrian gate to the car park?

Everyone had to walk down the Shaw Lane entrance, along with cars trying to get down.

    Very poor planning,

Amazing crowd for a game at that level, was going to go down but was nackered after a long day, will definitely have to go to the return fixture at San Sheerian - Shaw Lane look like they have a good chance of going up again so could be the last time they play each other for a while.

Only one goes up. Shaw Lane have splashed the cash but Heanor, Handsworth etc have likewise. They all look good bets. Last night was a great game. Great support for local football. Great endeavour on and off the pitch. Barnsley should be proud.

    Nearly 1000 fans that's great

Does anyone else in the league manage to pull crowds like this ?

    Who else have good support

I have never heard a match between 2 sides in this league have crowds this good

Some conference sides only just manage 1000 fans

If you mean the ones where the cricket and other pitches are, then the path and gate belong to the school. They keep the gates locked out of hours for 'health and safety'. Something to do with if someone slips on the path because they're not gritted the school doesn't want to get sued.

My daughter plays for Shaw Lane on them fields and they're closed then.
