Some good points there regarding K.Hill and the supporters. When people said to me Hill abused them as fans my reply was did you boo the team during the first half hour of his first game if the answer was no I'd say well he wasn't referring to you then.I personally never took any thing he said to heart because he never said anything to offend me.
You are well wrong on that score too mate ! , Far more hated the lovely person than loved him. The BBS is not a true reflection of the Barnsley fans !
Thank **** it isn't. But I take it you've spoken to 8,000 fans separately to come to that conclusion? I don't have that opportunity, so I gauge things from the fans I know, fans on social media, forums etc. And he was adored by many for large spells. But fans are fickle. Everything revolves around winning. After leading us to sixth in his first season, we went on to finish mid table in 95-96 under Danny didn't we? If those two seasons happened now, in this era, fans would have wanted shut of him in that second season. And then we'd never have had the promotion season. I'm happy to see him remain in the long term. But I won't pretend it's all lovely when it isn't. Just as I won't tar Hill as the worst manager ever, because I try to be reasonable and fair in my judgment. And as things stand, Danny's record in this second spell is shockingly bad, with 9 games at a level we expected to be better at. Can understand the doubters having their say. I want him here, but I can't ignore facts.
Andy, I would rather trap my knob in the car door repeatedly, than ever listen to Hill and his stupid, antagonistic remarks ever again and watch his silly swagger down the touchline. I cannot understand how anyone could like the football he employed, it wqs fecking horrible and boring. If you enjoyed then fair enough, but it was you that stated that I was the only one that didnt like Hill, I was not. Hill tried to be something he is not, he does a great job at Rochdale and good luck to him there, I just do not understand the Hill love on here. Danny Wilson`s record this season is won 3 lost 3 and drawn 3( I might be wrong though). That is this season, the one I will judge him on, like Flitcroft was judged on last season, not the one before. If Wilson does not turn things around, then fair enough, but a new team and a new league need time to become acquainted with. If I dislike a manager I will say so and I have said so about more than a few, but my dislikes have been genuine , not just because my son said that he was a **** manager for the Blunts or because he left to go to Hillsbro`, which is what is happening here now. Wilson has to turn the fortunes around or he deserves to go, that is simple. No arguments here from me.
