    Fergie finished 11th in his first season after taking over in November. They were second bottom when he took over
    Clough finished 18th with Derby in his first season. The previous year they finished 17th

    Statistics also demonstrate that over a period of time the most successful teams/companies are those that demonstrate both stability and have a long term vision/strategic approach. In football particularly they show that a constant changing of managers and personel is counterproductive. For some of our fans celllino would be the ideal chairman. The other thread should he stay or go would demonstrate how tbe vast majority feel and im sure we would be thankful if those that claimed to support us stopped the constant negativity and celebrating when we lose. Its so very dull

    I think you are right stability is crucial that's why I have been critical in the past when managers have been sacked

    However you have to make sure that you have the right man and ve confident he is the right man long term relationship
