Why do you put half your message in the subject? Makes it impossible to read on Tapatalk, and also I miss it half the time when on desktop (I use Linear view) A pet hate of mine.
Re: then get a proper PC I have 2 high-end computers that i built myself and spent over £3000 on in total. Plus a Laptop that i spent £1500 on. (All for my job, like) so dont tell me to get a 'proper PC' I like to be able to read the forum while away from home, hence the phone. Case in point is that i had to wait till i got home and open the BBS on my PC to actually see what your message said.
Re: then get a proper PC not at all. I'm a software developer, i need to be able to test programs on a variety of platforms and such. Including having to run multiple instances of many different OS at once. I've had to run up to 30 copies of Linux at a time to test different things, so to save buying 30 computers, i just buy a few good computers, that can handle running multiple Virtual Servers.
total respect self built at that cost is quite a fab set up... I am not into self build ... as I am more mechanical as it were, well over 30 years in the aero space industry... jet prop mainly. I now get guys like you to do my bidding for my PC needs... and seriously this is not at all trying to be condescending in the slightest way,
Re: total respect There are 2 things i wont do when it comes to computers/computing/etc. 1. Buy a ready made PC (laptops are an exception, it's just not worth a custom built laptop). I dont agree with giving money to a company when i can do it myself at a fraction of the cost (only downside is no warranty etc). 2. skimp on parts and have to buy again in 2 years
