I wouldn't mind hearing some more about this analytical approach to signings that Ben, Patrick and James have put together. How it works etc. Also, who identified the majority of signings this summer, was it Wilson or the above three?
This 100% Ive stopped buying our kid pop for this exact reason. I now take my own sports bottle filled with dilute pop for him.
We raised it with Lindley's the year before last when Don asked us to liaise with them. From memory, they were supposed to look into it and sort it out. Obviously like all the other things they promised they didn't follow up on or ignored. Will ask again as we've had loads of complaints in the past about this (I know it's minor but its the little things they just can't get right)
Well said. Or they run out of trays to carry warm drinks in, thus you have to navigate through a concourse of hundreds of fans without dropping them or burning your hands with them.
I take it they've started serving hot drinks hot then? Maybe they did deliver on one of their promises then.
I'm led to believe that the brighter fans save bottle tops and take them with them to the match, so they can pop them on the bottles when away from the gaze of the friendly stewards, but I always forget.
Yeah. That's right. I always take a few different tops just in case my 8 year old decides on a different drink. 8 year old..... this shouldn't be a problem. But everyone of us are hooligans right?
I didn't Dys no. Had to drive from Donny to Tarn in 1/2 hour when I realised I could get back so don't think it'd make a difference but it's a good facility. I'll use it in future. No one at the club, steward/turnstile/box office mentioned this when I queried the situation/price structure. I suppose my main point is the difference between £5 and £16. 300+% increase. Imagine if an adult at £25/£23 turned up at 3:15 and was asked to pay £75?!?! Or you went to the flicks, arrived just as the trailers were finishing and the £7 was now £21?!?!? Why can't it just be a straight £5 regardless? Lessens confusion. Gets rid of points like this. And MOST importantly it'd be another step in keeping the interest of the next generation of fans.
Agree entirely. But by introducing something good like print at home they've decided to get rid of something else good, which is pay on the gate.
I've never chucked a bottle at anyone in my life. But if I had one, I would have been severely tempted on Setdi!
Can you ask if there is any plans for changing status of academy from a category 2 ? What is his thoughts on the academy and any long term plans he can share? Cheers
