Michael Foot and Neil Kinnock have both played the same role as Millipeed. Un-electable nobodies

This is a very divisive government, Mr Reev. The Tories have done some extremely nasty, sneaky things and would do even more unfettered by coalition partners. The Libs are surely shafted after the uni fees fiasco and the loss of the PR referendum, and those fleeing the sinking ship will surely head in the direction of Labour, particularly with the Tories threatening the repeal of the HRA. At the other extreme, the PG Wodehouse character that is Nigel Farridge will nibble at the Tory vote from the other end. The final salute is that if the Tories couldn't get a majority against Gordon Brown, how the hell will they do it promising more years of austerity?

I basically share your view about politicians, but I think so long as Mr Moribund keeps a fairly low profile, he'll get in.

    Oh, and Ladbrokes go:
    4/5 Milliband
    5/4 Cameron

And while we're on, Dr Alan Billings is 4/11 for SY Police and Crime Commissioner. Where else could you get 36% interest on your money?

    Why is he unelectable?

As a man with a young family his vision to create more jobs through green industry and apprenticeships as well as raising the minimum wage while keeping the NHS out of private hands all seem like policies that should appeal to most people surely....

Just because he isn't a Blair/Cameron clone doesn't mean he isn't capable of running this country and implementing his policies successfully.

I'll be voting for him next May and fingers crossed a majority do because we can't afford another 5 years under these helping their mates out.

This is why Labour will struggle to win any General Election. He is a man of few words and little idea of what to do next.

My ears are bleeding after listening to his reckless and provocative repetition of a speech.

    Poor Leader.

And here is another reason why Labour will struggle in Scotland and why the SNP will possibly make even more gains.

And he is not the only Red Tory that we have got. Traitors to the cause.

But here's my question. Why end the labour party? Surely better to end the tories as there are more tories in that party?

He's a disgrace btw, as most of them are.

Those two knocked spots of Milliband.
He can't think on his feet and time after time lacks any charisma in interviews. He repeats himself and is clueless on how to answer difficult questions when put on the spot. Give him the questions beforehand and he tries to do a reasonable job but even Susannah Reid had him stumped for words the other day.

They'll probably get my vote too, or some other minor party (there's normally a Yorkshire related party).

I hope Labour doesn't get another landslide victory in the Barnsley seats next year, otherwise it will just be another 5 years on the gravy train for them doing nothing to help the town.

Cameron's speech was pretty good, significantly better that Eds. I agree with the comment that Ed is the Tories most effective weapon - him and the economy of course.

Ed is scrutinisedused by the media more often than Camereon is by a long way.
That Nick Robinson character just about cums in his pants on television when reporting on the Tories.
Andrew Marr answers the questions for any of the Tories he interviews whilst constantly interrupting/heckling any opposition candidate.
But then again why would any journalist or editor on vast salaries give their cash cow such a hard time .

Do you think the BBC has a right wing bias?

Tbh mk after watching the coverage on both conferences the reporting leaves a lot to be desired .
What I would like to see is deep and honest scrutiny and analysis of policies from all parties in a way that leaves the viewer to make up their own mind. Instead of the blatant reporting of who said what where and when.imo
