    Having said I'd prefer us not to take on loan signings, that's exactly what we need. If the players we've got won't do it, I guess you have to bring in players that will. There's more to the job of a winger than beating the full back and drilling a cross over.

    Thing is, Jennings can do it. In the York game he was superb at that. He spent 60 minutes chasing down York's winger and full back, knackered them out and had the freedom of the park for the final 30 minutes when he caused them all sorts of problems. He can do it, he just doesn't.

    Instinctively I'd be against loan signings - considering generally how they've let us down these past 8 seasons (few exceptions) but there is a dearth of defensive cover in the wide areas, especially down our left.

    I think Jennings has been on a pie binge since then though. Definitely getting bigger.
