Im meant to be off to Tunisia soon - with all this **** going on i don't really feel like travelling.
Absolutely dreadful. I really don't know what the answer is. Whatever action is carried out against the perpetrators, there will be criticism from some quarters. RIP Alan
Hmm. There's limits though. Have you checked with Embassy? They should be able to tell you whether it's safe to travel.
RIP fella , time to destroy these mad dogs once and forall. ( Islam in a man is like rabies in a dog .) How True .
He's been captive well before the air strikes! Can you imagine us been able to 'detain' a foreign blowk against his will and get away with it?!? We can't even deport folk who are here without permission!!!!! The blowk was there trying to do good. This sort of stuff makes my blood boil even more!!!!! RIP fella. I hope your life isn't in vein.
RIP Allan.thoughts with your family and friends. All he did was try and help desperate people ,heart of gold
Could a different set of actions been tried? I think so Cut the funding cure the problem. Not sure what your reasoning is about, unless you want to live under draconian rule?
One cannot comprehend what the poor families of all those people executed are going through. What a dreadful world we live in.
Why wouldn't it be? All we are going to see is an escalation with more and more innocent lives like Alan's, troops and local civilians being wasted. Without cutting the funding it is just a futile cycle. What our governments can't admit is that they have no control over the financial system so can't strangle them. Still, it's telling which post gets questioned...
I can see where Redstar is coming from and it is a very valid point. The fact is unless we have some serious intelligence on the ground as to the location of these lunatics, then the bombing raids will hardly make any difference, but I suppose the politicians have to be seen to be doing something to pacify the public's concerns.
