3 hard earned points. Bit of a smash and grab with the corner goal and we should have been level at least straight after when we missed 3 or 4 decent chances. Killed the game completely in the 2nd half and we looked strangely flat but our substitutions didn't help. Cole looks a good un - very raw - but his pace is frightening. Don't know if it was a confidence thing but you gave the ball away so much and sat very deep - obviously desperate for those 3 points. Anyway onwards and upwards - we fight on to another day and hopefully the last day of the seasons has something riding on it. Up the Dale.

Having been to the game and currently residing in a Rochdale town centre boozer, i thought we won comfortably. I honestly never thought Rochdale were going to score and we should have buried Rochdale with the pen.

I thought Rochdale were less than average and rarely stretched us. Our only moments of weakness were due to our own lack of confidence.

A regulation away win in the end. Simple as that.

Well we didn't look like scoring in the 2nd half but we should have taken 1 of the opportunities after you scored. Henderson should have hit the target along with Vincenti and Vincenti looked to have done everything right when he found himself with just Turnbull to beat but he pulled off a great save. Anyway good luck yourselves for the rest of the campaign.

So Matty Done is how I remember him not some Lancastrian version of Pele. Tight game I thought myself could have gone either way with the first goal being crucial. Dawson doesn't change though I have missed s******ing at him trying to control the ball so drank in my fill.

Thanks for the assessment, i'll take a smash and grab win every week. Cole will get better as the season goes on I reckon, and will probably end up out on loan in the championship next season. All the best for the season.
