Add to that....... 1) At least one person smoking near the back of the stand to the right of the halfway line where all the kids who looked like they were on a day out from school were. 2) Being stood all game because stewards don't have folks sit down despite the sign at the front of the stand about it being a criminal offence. 3) At least one flare let off in the concourse at least half an hour before kick off.
I very much doubt it was a flare . How many people are unable to understand what a flare is . Flares are the ones set off at arsenal the other night . If your going to complain at least describe the offence correctly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They shouldn't , but you know at away matches this happens all the time . So should you not take the kids and stop putting them through this every away match . Because people are no going to stop smoking in toilets unless they bring designated smoking areas at all grounds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bringing kids to games and them using the toilets isn't wrong, smoking in the ground and in the confined space of the toilets is, and it should be stopped. So how can you say stop bringing their kids?
Are you actually saying that I should stop taking my kids to away games to avoid them inhaling smoke from idiots who shouldn't be smoking there in the first place. maybe you should stop going to games if your so weak that you cant get through a game without smoking
It annoys me a bit because I've not got a good chest & after breathing that **** in at half time in the toilets I did quite a bit of coughing through the second half but it's one of them things, I've kinda accepted that we've got a certain percentage of selfish ****s who follow the club & if I want to watch my team I've just got to put up with it. Had the same issue at Wednesday a few times where the concourse isn't big enough & it's made even worse by people smoking & a lack of air
Not at all But you know it's not going to change so as a parent you need to make the correct choice for your kids health and a lot of smokers will not stop smoking in toilets when been told to do so by people who were supposed to be in charge . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, as an adult why don't you make the correct choice and have some respect by not smoking in such a confined space like the public toilets at football grounds? Why should kids miss out?
Not saying the kids should miss out . But I choose to smoke when a steward and a police officer direct me to the toilets to have a cigarette . If you think you're children are been put into a bad situation I would take then out of this . As you will never stop people doing this So only you can make that decision either take them and put up with it like 90% of fans or moan all day and take them the following away match Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree the toilets today were far too small for my super king cigarette Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fair enough, but don't pick and choose your laws. You will find that thousands at a football match chant foul and abusive language, contrary to the laws of the land. Stuff that kids should not hear, if you wish to be pious about it too. Those fans mean nowt by it, by the way. Do you want them all to be rounded up charged and end up with a criminal recoed? The law was transgressed today, at Rochdale. By our fans. By what they chanted If all you were bothered about was that the smoking was in a confined space, then I'll shut up. But then again that kind of exposure is not gonna do owt but at worst severely irritate someone I do not smoke by the way
I agree it's easier to tell the difference between a flare and a smoke canister. Plenty of folks videoed on their phones the incident whilst the Ronnie Moore hat song was sung about Keith Hill in the concourse. So i'm sure at least one will be on You Tube soon enough showing it was a flare.
Pity people can't manage 90 mins without using the toilet !!.... PS I don't smoke and I'm just playing a shameless devil's advocate with that comment.
Fans had to cope back then but shouldn't have to put up with it now as its illegal. Do you think all new laws should be abolished or just the ones that suit you ? Would you agree with me giving your kids some cannabis to smoke at a football match seeing that you are ok with my kids inhaling your toxins whilst going for a **** ?
Selfish fvckers, and yes, I would prefer everyone who smokes in toilets at a football match to get arrested, removed from the ground and receive a fine and criminal record. Banned from oakwell, too. You're pathetic if you can't last a couple of hours without a cigarette...
