Due to flares in the Arsenal end - fecking fashion police!

Seriously though - what the hell, I know that the Galatasaray fans had them at the Emirates, surely when away fans are often searched on entry to the stadium then they should be able to stop them getting into the ground.

I wouldn't let them into the ground if they were found to have flares....turn em away and take their tickets off them.

A lad I know through my son said that they get smuggled in down boxer shorts, in kids pants, and in bra's - all the places that don't seem to get searched.

It's about time they started threatening people with banning orders or even start issuing a few short term ones.

These idiots are only thinking of themselves and don't care how dangerous they are to others around.

Another person that doesn't know the difference between a smoke bomb and a flare . Yes there both illegal but it's like saying I shot someone with a BB gun and I shot someone with a shot gun

Neither is a flare and a smoke bomb but people still seem to call them the incorrect name

Let's hope you never set of a smoke bomb off if your lost at sea

    Won't really help you much

What difference does it make. Either one shouldn't be at a football match and either one are dangerous.

Correct but at least report the story correctly.

" a man was eaten alive by an hamster oh no it was a crocodile "

See when you report things incorrectly it sounds silly

I've merely replied to the OP, which says the game has been delayed due to flares. I'm not watching the game so I don't know if it's a flare or a smoke bomb.

I'm just putting your statement in the correct context

They both shouldn't be around football but a massive difference between flare and smoke bomb . A flare is on fire a smoke bomb is not
