can I ask you where you have seen news that Al Quaida has asked ISIS to stop there barbaric actions... not doubting you but seriously would like to see the report on this... I am appalled by it all.
reason I ask is...... its getting a bit bad when Al Quaida .... Osama bin Laden's old crew or what ever you want to call them... are asking this I S lot to tone it down ? not certain what this I S lot are wanting to achieve, but what I seriously do believe is that they need totally exterminating..... they are a huge spanner in the works of world peace... they are also not giving the real Muslims a chance either... or any other race religion for that matter. The EDL / BNP / UKIP must have gained followers by the hundreds or maybe even thousands due to these televised executions. Bye the way the if you think that we in the UK have a sad lot of people following the EDL .. BNP... then I urge you to take a look at the similar factions in our European Union companions... our groups I have hinted at are like our WWVS from the war years, or the Salvation Army compared to them. But heres a thing... their countries are doing very little to sort things out.
One of the reasons that even the other Jihadist groups and individuals were so against the execution is that Alan Henning travelled with a group of Muslims who offered him safe passage. By then killing him, IS have brought the whole religion of Islam in to disrepute. Obviously, 99%+ of Muslims were against the execution for exactly the same reason as everyone else: You don't go around chopping people's heads off, particularly not a volunteer aid worker. The idea of that would have made even the members of some of the most extreme organisations balk. However, it's a big step from disagreeing with a course of action to actually speaking out against it and criticising an organisation, when, in essence, they're supposedly fighting for the same ideal. Again, 99%+ of Muslims don't believe these extremist groups represent their religion. But you'll now start hearing from other extremist individuals and organisations claiming that they don't believe IS represent Islam either. The Quran, like all religious texts, is open to interpretation. Christians have used passages from the bible to suppress, exclude and discriminate against all sorts of people, even to wage war. Muslim extremists use passages in the Quran to justify what most of us believe to be acts of terror. However, offering safe passage is unambiguous, there is no other way it can be interpreted and it is part of Islamic Law. This is a big deal, even for terrorist organisations, and it has major implications as the people and organisations funding IS will be seriously questioning their commitment. Cut the supply of arms and money and you render the group impotent. It may not be guns and bombs that destroy IS, but the withdrawal by those who had previously backed them. If you can no longer feed your troops, you only have days left.
thankyou Jay a very good post. Lets hope this group are stopped by whatever means, and fast. I wonder how the Islamic laws will deal with them, it could be a chance to stop all this madness. Somehow I think it will not be the end though.
