Is @hemsworth tyke still banned? And is it for good this time? If not when is he allowed back. Surely he can't be that bad now Steele and Hassell have left the club. I'll fetch Mi 'at un coit now
After I introduced him to Gally/Hicksy I expected them to allow him back on. He promised to behave. But that's their decision. I'd like to see him back posting.
He promises to behave, gets banned, promises to change, gets banned again etc. Site Admin do right not allowing him back. If they bring him back again for whatever time it is and he finds someone else to go all Steele/Bobby on and they ban him again it won't be good. The place is better without him.
Got the green light from my gaffer to book the weekend off for that Chesterfield walk, pal. Just needs to go through HR now. Fingers crossed.
I was thinking the same All I have to do is sign a form and don't turn in the following day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We're very busy now in the run up to Christmas as you might imagine. I'm not tooting my own horn here or owt, but I have a specific set of skills (like Liam Neeson) and so the rota has to be sorted out so that other prod leaders (I like prodding) are in on days where I'm not. It's particularly difficult right now because one of my fellow prodders has just lost his prodding duties (or, his blue hat to be precise) for threatening another prod leader from the other prod line in our department. He had his disciplinary hearing this morning and instead of sacking him they've reduced him to a machine op. In other words, he'll earn £320 less per month from now on. The wally. So we're now down in numbers on the prodding front, which makes it harder to get time off. But my gaffer is a sound bloke and he knows it's a charity walk I'm doing so I can't see it being an issue. Although, HR are quite tedious.
Same here. I ask my gaffer first, and usually he'll just ok it without even looking. But the superiors have been in recently and we now have to fill in the forms we've always had but ignored using. So I have done, and he's signed it off, but it has to go upstairs due to this disciplinary thing with my colleague which has left us short on skilled ops. Or summat.
blimey. i just tell my boss i'm taking the day off, and rearrange any meetings i've got. and i haven't worked a weekend since '99. i think i'm quite lucky. i don't get to do any prodding though. swings & roundabouts.
It's great. I've got reight thin, boney fingers n all. I often think I was born to do this job. I'm probably living the dream. The actual dream. I often recall me telling my teachers and family that when I grow up I want to run a production line that cooks pies and quiche for the masses.
Myself and HT will be a posh on Saturday if y'all want to say hi to him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Probably take for granted the fact that I can email my boss and say "just letting you know I'm not in next week"!
To be honest he came across as a nice lad and even apologised for some of his behaviour and trouble he'd cause us. I said I'd have a word with him about it at another time and to be honest I've just forgotten about it. It's difficult to know what to do for the best
