I can't agree mate. Had the album on non stop for about four weeks straight before and after Leeds Fest!
It's an easy decision for me this year, "The Breaks" by Martin Carr is one of the best albums that I've heard in a long time. Take my recommendation with a pinch of salt as I've loved Martin Carr's music ever since his Boo Radleys days and I <s>may be</s> am biased as hell, but do yourself a favour and give this album a listen. Here's one of my favourite tracks from the album:
Courteeners ... they're ***** as well ... all in my very humble opinion ..... but will caveat this with .... I do own St Jude LP, and a signed copy of 350 only copies cavourting (CD as was 7" had already sold out -signed when I saw them at Faversham, (they were on very late as they had to wait for one of their dads to finish work to get them from Mancs to Leed), which is very £££ collectable .... I should sell, but I'm an effing hoarder
As opposed to an external brain? How does that work? In any case, I wasn't recommending it to anyone. I was merely stating it is my own personal favourite. People can make their own minds up if they so wish or they can just listen to what they think they might like. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zXv-acWqp9M
Goat Roper Rodeo Band….. for me, cracking first album…. see what you think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzrtkapJQ0s
I think they're doing summat different to most death metal bands out there but I appreciate that 99.9% of people will dislike it.
Is that the band from Canada? They started out in the late 90s. Saw them with Mathew Good around 98/99ish.
Is that a shouting and balling band Conan? Was going to to tell you to give your head a shake but I bet you already have
I'm enjoying Interpol's latest although it isn't that radical a departure and not anywhere near as good as their earlier albums. Just haven't listened to them in years and forgot they could sound great
A letter home, Neil Young is pretty great. Recorded in a restored vinyl recording booth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H47jI6xanA
