You can get a season ticket at Barnsley.

    Or...

    4 season tickets at Barcelona

    Or...

    3 Real Madrid season tickets

    Or...

    6 Porto Season tickets

    Or...

Half an arsenal Season ticket (a quarter of the most expensive one!)

I didn't realise this country was so bad...

Something dosn't add up looking at the cheapest tickets for newcastle.

    Cheapest individual ticket £15
    Season ticket. £525

So 19 home games is it top of my head??

    15 x 19 = 285

Which is a £240 pound cheaper for individual bought tickets

Now clearly they have a game grade structure so the man u man C and stuff will be more but can't see they been much cheaper for a ST especially when you factor in the games you can't get to for whatever reason.

Interesting comments from Dortmunds commercial director "the people are one of the most important assets for our club. We have to care for them". Can't see any of his premiertshit compatriots saying the same and backing it up with reasonable pricing. It's got way out of hand. When I lived in London I worked it out it would have been cheaper to buy a season ticket and fly to Ajax every week than come to support the mighty reds.

    Hate Football Love Barnsley

I remember seeing an interview a couple of years ago with a group of football fans down in Kent who had season tickets to watch Lille - Top French side playing in Europe etc and it was much cheaper for them to go across the channel and watch them every other week than to go to Arsenal or Chelsea etc -( and probably Gillingham as well though that wasnt mentioned at the time)

I went to Alfreton a few years ago when we played them in a friendly. I saw a poster up advertising season tickets from £250. I couldn't believe it. I only pay £50 more, that's about £2.20 a match more, for a Barnsley season ticket. Madness.

With Arsenal, you have to take into account that their most expensive season ticket, is actually for 26 games and not 19 like everybody else's. As part of their season ticket package, they give you the first 7 cup games as well.

Does that include Champions League games then? Fair do's, not saying the price is therefore ok but it's good that it includes them

It's **** but we can't reduce them because we've got to compete with teams in our league especially with the new financial fair play rules where you can only spend a certain amount of turnover on wages.

Nothing will change unless there's a ruling from the FA / football league on pricing

I'm not 100% but I believe it does... just have to take these 'statistics' with a pinch of salt
