I'd never heard of him either Jay. And now I have I'm still not interested. Good luck to him but it means nowt to me.
Why is that intolerant though? People not giving a **** is the highest form of tolerance in my opinion. Some people are carrying on like he's just brokered peace in Gaza
Can we have a ban please? I agree with thereev that I don't care either way but there's no need for language like that.
I'm on the side of "not giving a sh!te about this"........but I think the amount of publicity that he/she has promoted via social media, radio, TV, etc is ridiculous. If Simon wants to become Stephanie, fine, do it......then shut up, be quiet and live ya life.
You see folks, a lot agreeing with thereev. Are the people of this board finally coming to their senses and realising that thereev is the voice of the people!! Quick, get thereev on the one show asap...... I know I have helped this time so I have no need to hope I helped.
Pont Al does have a fair point.......bloke in a frock. We are becoming, in general, a much more liberal and tolerant society.
**** in a frock Chick with a dick A willy in Sommet frilly Hth Ps I spent 8-10 years commuting listening to his show religiously. Very talented at what he did. I'm not a 'lorder' of his revelation. Good look to him/her(I don't know the etiquette)! Pps I'm going thro a drought so yes I probably would aswell;-)
if you're joking, i'd say so before people take your comments the wrong way. if you're not, you sound like a bit of a chump
I just hope any treatments arnt paid for by the nhs, whilst the nhs struggle to provide drugs to those needing them for illness due to costs etc. Other than that, he/she can do what he/she wants. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Shes famous for presenting the top 40 charts on national radio with over 2 million listeners at its peak.
Hirsty's very well respected in radio. I've said it already in another thread, I wish her well. I don't think it's too much, all this fuss. You can't be famous and just one day reveal you're changing gender without it being newsworthy. Takes a lot of balls I imagine. Ahem. And perhaps Hirsty doing this and the publicity it's received will encourage others to be true to themselves? I dunno. As much as I'm relaxed with it, fair play and all that, I can't for the life of me begin to understand or get my head around it. I'm guessing it's like coming out as gay? Unless you're in that boat you're not going to understand it are you? Dunno. I think the reception she's had has been overwhelmingly supportive. Which I like. I like nice things. But of course, as this thread proves, there'll be plenty of folk who'll find it repulsive and speak out negatively. As folk do regarding gays. Got to admit, I find it strange when folk come out as gay and a big deal is made of it. Tom Daley a recent example. Fact that he was seemingly the last to know dint help, like. So aye, I can understand the opposite reaction to this news about Hirsty. I'm not a listener of radio full stop, so I only know of him (now her) from my younger days out in town. Followed him on twitter, always like to keep tabs on Barnsley folk made good. Makes me feel good. And so aye, I wish Hirsty well in the future.
I'm in the same boat, old mate. But, after reading this, I wish her a happy and more content life than she's probably lived so far. As I would to anyone else in a similar situation. Hopefully, this will soon no longer be regarded as a newsworthy item.
