David Perkins had no effect on the game either going forwards or defensively. Lots of pointing though. Jacob Mellis got ten minutes as a sub and didn't get a kick. Although he managed to get a booking for going in late on Hogg. Tomasz Cywka didn't get off the bench. And Butterfield was immense. Obviously. Entertaining affair. Huddersfield ought to have won by at least 10 goals, seriously. Grant Holt's made such a difference to them. I'm now starting to wonder if maybe we need that big, physical presence up top? I've been against it myself until now, but from what I can gather from lads who were at Posh today we're missing that lump up top, someone to take the pressure off, an out ball. Perhaps an O'Grady return might be a goer? I hope he gets a chance on Tuesday. And Paddy. Be nice to be on ex BFC player watch again. Yes, I'm a **** BFC fan. Before tha starts. And yes, I appreciate some of you will think this post is ****. But then, so is your face so there...
Yay right about us needing a big lump up top to hold ball up, time and again it doesn't stick up top and were on back foot.
I have said enough already, but I was surprised when I was told about it. Some classy ladies apparently , oh and costly ! Which considering where it is I was surprised about !
Nay mate, lad I worked with told me about it when I was picking some steel up from near Seabrookes crisp place. He says that they charge like like a wounded Rhino !
I'm currently doing overtime at work, mate. Instead of finishing at 2pm, I'm staying behind until 4, 5pm. Christmas is looming and all that. The extra 10 to 15 hours a week will make sure we have a lovely one. And so I'll never make it to a midweek game at Oakwell. It means four trains, rushing about, getting home towards midnight, up at 5am the next day. Perhaps I'm not as true a reds fan as I once was? I used to go home and away regular, when I was younger. Before I moved away, before I fell in love etc. But I'm looking to start driving next year, and so I'd be more likely to attend night games then. So as it is, Huddersfield are at home Tuesday, it costs nowt to watch Jacob, takes less than half hour to get there, and we're home within an hour of full time. So it's common sense for me. I get to see some football, my wallet/missus is happy, etc etc. Weekend after next, I'll be doing the Blunts away with Barnsley. Booked the weekend off for it. And a couple of weeks later, I'll be walking to Chesterfield for charity. Booked that weekend off n all. A bit of give and take is involved too, got to be honest. If you've a missus, you'll know what I mean, matey. But, to answer your question, would I not rather watch the current BFC players at home to Notts County on Tuesday night? Yes, pal, I would rather watch my team.
