Yep, served his time and sounds like he will appeal.

Thought their lass would have fecked him off though.......

So wooden it's unbelievable - absolutely no remorse shown there, just reading through a statement from his lawyer.

After watching that I'm actually more against him being given a chance!

 

Seems all he did wrong, and all he regrets, was the infidelity. No crime committed, just let his girlfriend down. Ok...

 

im not going to watch it, i dont feel the need to. he's been found guily in front of a jury and in front a subsequent appeal judge of a truly disgusting crime. He has shown no remorse for his actions of the suffering he has caused.

Maybe one day the people who are surrounding him and supporting him , and of course himself may have a think about that.

 

He aint going to show remorse if he thinks he is innocent.

 

2 things I just dont get

1. His girlfriend accepting his actions, non consentual intercourse behind her back, she must be mental/desperate/both.

2. I remember him as a footballer, pretty average and dropping down the leagues, he's been in prison so hardly top of his game, who the **** wants to pay him good money? More fool the Blades board if he's signed on a decent contract, Worksop Town beckons.

He'll score against us mind.

 

I can't believe he's that intelligent to write such a well put together statement! Credit to the lad. Putting all his feelings across so articulately is something we ought to admire.
I for one believe he deserves a second chance now we know what his real thoughts are. I'm touched, I really am.

 

"Be prepared for a profound statement from Chedwyn next week" they said the day he was released.

Think they need the word profound explaining to them.

His crime,Rape?Murder?Embezzlement? No it was just being manager of a rival club.

A 'pro found' a bit of paper prepared by his legal team and read it out sounding like a kid at school who's been asked to apologise when they can't be really arsed!

 

ive actuall just had a thought that may be plausable or may be balls i dont know..... what if he really didnt want to read it out????

im not for one minute siding with him or whats he's done but we've all asked why his mrs and her family havent thrown him to the wolves yet... well how about if shes that depserate to not lose face and its actually her pushing this all along?? probably balls but hey!

 

I don't believe he's guilty

Course I understand he was found guilty but I don't believe he did rape the woman .

Many people have been wrongly found guilty and i believe this is one of them .

The worst of it is you'd think from his website like this is some great miscarriage of justice like he wasn't even there. Evan's account is that either him or his mate, neither can remember who, asked if he could join in and she mumbled 'yeah'. Now let's just say that the verdict was overturned its hardly like everyone is suddenly going to think he's Biko.

Putting aside every other element of the case or moral judgement, if you lied to gain access to a room and found your mate having sex with a complete stranger and decided to join in I'm pretty sure a normal human being would want to be absolutely certain she wanted you to join in. Jesus, you'd want it in writing! Yet Evan's doesn't even know if it was him who asked.

Evan's problem is he doesn't think lack of consent amounts to rape. That's the underlying issue.
