To put a Pythonesque stance on it....

"What have the EU ever done for us? I'll start...

No major European War in my lifetime.......???

Cheers for that Farnham. I should have read more about it before I posted on the subject not after like I'm going to do now. Another example of why you should never comment after only reading the headlines and snippets from social media.

Yet he seems to think that is a good thing ! lovely person !!

It wasn't an EEC country so doesn't count.

some of the wording there is making the post a bit not understandable. I am not being funny here either please believe that, but read it and explain, maybe I am a bit word blind here but I do not quite understand what you have put here.

Have a read at this, it tells you quite a bit. I know you will not like Owen Jones , but look beyond him at what he is saying.

    Nonsense

Just posturing with UKIP firmly in mind. We'll end up paying it in the end because we signed the treaty along with the other countries in the EU. The rest of the EU understand this, with the UK election coming up and the rise of UKIP, they will give us plenty of leeway but will expect us to pay eventually. And we will.

This is a disgusting proposition but will be passed by the plastic politicians who are not in it for the long term or to make family/friends or themselves a packet by being rewarded by these corporates for delivering it.

Still banging that same old worn out drum Dragon? Wish I'd got your faith in what these people will do for you that you've got. Yes Miiliband is a liability, yes he looks like Wallace. Does that make me trust the Eton crowd? You must be joking. I think that when they notice your faith in them a knighthood is on the way for you. Just a minute, you say you didn't go to public school? Your father isn't a member of Whites? Mmmm, we'll get back to you on that. Keeping a dog is one thing, promoting it to office something else entirely. Keep the faith.

So they are not going to challenge the EU are they ?
