He was off side (Williams). That's why he didn't pass.

Williams would still have had to bury it Bob but he should have given him the opportunity rather than trying to blast it through a brick shitehouse of a defender.

He did shoot at every opportunity which was a little frustrating.

As the ball dropped to Williams from hourihanes shot the ref blew for offside, hourihsne was yelling St Williams to get back offside well before he took the shot on which was a shot more in frustration at Williams imo

Williams was way offside that's why he didn't pass it, you could see Hourihane calling him to come back. Not sure how that's hourihanes fault? He did the right thing.

The other side of this is he would have passed it then the flag would have gone up and then everyone would have no doubt been moaning about the fact he passed it to a clearly offside player...

He wasn't offside when he should've passed.

Had he waited too long to release it, would like to see it again.

Williams should never have been offside at anytime during that move he was in a great position to see the back line all the way from the halfway line.

That's fair enough, that's the mistake Hourihane made, but there was still plenty of chance for Williams to get back but he failed to realise that he was off and carried on, meaning it couldn't be played. Both at fault really I guess

Williams ran past him and so he couldn't pass. He should have weighed up the options at that time, cos there were others bombing forward too.

But Williams screwed that attack up.

Williams was about 2 yard offside you moron. Hourihane was screaming at him to get back on!

You are so wrong, Mr D yson is correct, when
he should have released it, Williams was way onside.

If you sat in the west stand with the real fans you would have seen this.

However that one incident is totally not to blame for us not winning as Bob says.
A decent opposition was one factor.
And if you want to pick fault at individual errors the free header for their first goal would be a good start.

You are wrong too.... In fact were you the well educated looking young fellow who was ejected after the reds went in front, therefore not seeing the said incident.

Well he could have released it around the half way line, admittedly.

But that would have left Williams with much to do.

    Hardly a game loser.

Did you not spot Cole missing an open goal header? Or fluffing a shot straight in front of goal?

Far more obvious. But let's not blame anyone.

And he should have stayed on side until he did release it
