Really? Is that to do with transfer windows and such? Thought it might not apply for non-league signings

I asked him on Twitter earlier as I was going to go myself if he was playing.

Just said he didnt have clearance. Not sure of the reasons.

Find it quite strange really as a trialist would be allowed to play?

It would put a few hundred on the gate, probably. Mind you, with heavy rain forecast maybe not much fun sitting out in the open West Stand

think its to do with 7 day registration rule. Because another club put 7 days on him.. He should be eligible after tomorrow

Nothing at all if you are dressed for it! I'm one of the softies under cover in the ESL. Mind you the wind does blow the rain in sometimes. ;)

I used to sit there in 1966. I bought a junior season ticket and was taken up there by the club secretary to choose my seat. Personal service no less!

This was in the dark days of 2,000 crowds and near extinction. I bet I was one of only a few hundred season ticket holders.

PS I still have the ticket. It's a little black covered thing, with fixtures inside. You just showed it at the door on the way in. Scanners were science fiction in those days :)
