Totally hypothetical but if I had a brother who, for the sake of this post, had been in an accident and was in a wheelchair and we had a cup game, would he be able to buy him a ticket and then someone else (not me obviously) get in for free as his helper (pushing his wheelchair)? I only ask out of interest.
Decades ago I finished up in a wheelchair after having a knee ligament replaced with part of an onion bag. I went into the old disabled stand at the away end underneath where our new ultra modern scoreboard is. I had a season ticket anyway, but my helper got in free. I think it's still the same, please refer to the following links: - http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/fans/disabled-supporters/ https://tools-barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/staticFiles/43/c3/0,,10309~181059,00.pdf
A few years ago I sprained my ankle and went to the game on crutches. Don't think that counted as being disabled seen as it only lasted a week or so. Would a broken bone be classified as disabled or just a temporary injury?
So, if ever we have a big game and someone is unable to get a ticket, they could just do a Sylvester Stallone from "Escape to Victory" and have someone jump up and down on either leg until they need surgery and then get a ticket for the disabled stand..
