great ties. wish we were in one of them. fair play to the beeb for putting these on the box. that's what the FA Cup should be about. 15 minutes of fame and a few extra quid to the teams that need it most. i'll be tuning in.

I'd rather watch these types of games in the FA cup but sadly the TV companies won't be arsed about the small clubs come the third round.

I have to disagree, BBC normally show smaller clubs in FA Cup. Obviously if a non-league were against us, and another non-league against Man Utd, they show Utd... That's just common sense

I've seen rounds where there have been some really appealing games overlooked to show all premier league ties - happens most years. There was quite a bit of criticism of the TV companies a few years ago when they advertised using the game of the working man images, hinting at grassroots being the lifeblood, but when they had the opportunity they ignored games like Blackpool v Fleetwood. It might not be the case all the time but it does happen and too often in my opinion.

Pretty sure they put man utd v Swansea on last season or the year before when there were lots of better options involving smaller clubs at home to big clubs. Magic of the cup my arse ... ""it's all about the money money money" these days

Halifax - Bradford is definitely the pick of the ties

I'd have liked to have watched the Doncaster game. I like the games with an ex championship team playing a team from outside the conference. Like when Leeds got beat by Histon a few years back. I think Halifax vs Bradford will be a tight game nonetheless.

No they didn't. BBC haven't had the FA Cup contract since 2008.

Aye that's the one I wanted to see as well but i'd not get BT Sport to watch it. I'm shocked the BBC didn't have it as their first pick when it's obviously the biggest match of the round. Halifax were on TV a few years ago to Charlton and it was close to a sell out. For a rare West Yorkshire derby against a neighbouring city it's going to be sold out.

Was ITV then. Same difference. Premier league clubs on instead of real cup ties
