Was the sign manufactured and installed by employed people? The kind that make a living out of this, sometimes called 'jobs'. Should we lay off all sign makers and installers and save more money? Do you agree?
Fvck me. Some people love a good complain don't they. It's a fvcking sign. The council deals with millions of pounds, spends millions on renovations, and you complain about a cheap fvcking sign? Get a grip.
That's because of how we sadly prioritise spending on tax cuts for the rich and ridiculous military campaigns though isn't it not so much road signs in Poggy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I agree, was focusing more on us being a rich country, not the road sign, they are actually quite handy still!
They could take out the traffic lights at the junction with Broadway as well. That'll save money too. Just imagine all the electricity they're using. What a waste of public money.
A roundabout would cost more money than the sign. I thought you were against the Council spending money?
How much grit could that buy? If the roads get bad then people won't be able to get to work etc. the £500 is better invested in infrastructure than signs surely.
Thing is you are assuming everybody who would benefit is a local, as somebody who travels a lot for work I find road signs very useful, you could argue its MBC money but I am sure there will be Barnsley residents who travel to other areas who benefit from similar signs
You do realise that the council employs experts in areas like traffic management that make these decisions don't you?
