Not a bad effort Andy however you'd have scored a higher mark if you'd bothered to make it rhyme. 8/10.
You did well to get out the roebuck alive... When I went past it was rammed with very angry looking gentlemen and some spotty oiks with some checked scarves looking moody.
We went in The Old Brown Bear just round the corner from the Crucible.A proper old fashioned pub.Sam Smiths £1.80 apint and free snuff on the bar for those inclined to a pinch.
Didn't see you or Maureen yesterday Bill, hope you enjoyed the game. Send your Rob my best wishes. Dave
Cheers Dave.We all went to the match then our Rob went straight through to Bridlington.I'll send your best wishes on to him.Hows uncle Jim doing?
Ended up in that roebuck too, they call us dingles but there was some proper Neanderthals in there. Fair to say we supped up sharpish as me and my cousin aren't the best at hiding our accent. Tidy barmaids though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He's good thanks Bill he went to the game yesterday and should be going through to chesterfield. Really enjoying this season, think once this side fully gels we will be on to something special.
Really good blog, thanks for taking time to do it whitey. On the referee I have met this guy before and he's a wolves fan that made no secret that he "hates barnsley" after the 97 promotion. All this was said to me before he reffed a Donny rovers game that I was a guest of the linesman that day.
Explains a lot then. It's like I said to my mate last night, I know it sounds like sour grapes when you whinge about refs but we bloody won yesterday and I was still fuming at his 'display'. And am glad folk get sumat out of the blogs. Cheers.
