All winnable, nov and December has a hell of a lot of winnable games. Not getting carried away but we could be sniffing around the top 6 come Christmas. Fingers crossed, upthereds.

Can't believe how tight the division still is, if we get sorted defensively then I still think we can do well, obviously a clean sheet yesterday was a start.

I had been calling for M'Voto to get in over Nyatanga but I thought he played really well yesterday so certainly no rush to change it. I do think M'Voto would chip in with a goal every now and again though.

If we gonna do summert this season we need to be going on a decent run imo. It injects confidence and belief in the players and fans keep us in touch with other top teams and if we don't manage to go up this season (which IMO is not impossible) it keeps us in good stead for next in terms of confidence and attracting staff.

Don't think we should run away with ourselves just yet. Just enjoy our developing team without putting too many expectations on them.

We've just come through a spell of top half teams, 6 of the top 8 in fact. Sheffield United, Bristol, Notts County, Peterborough, Bradford, Swindon and Rochdale. 10 points isn't a terrible return over this difficult 7 game period, 3 wins a draw and 3 defeats.

What is imperative now is that we pick up more points from the next 7 games, when we're playing arguably more winnable opponents. We have 4 of the bottom 5 at home in the next 6 league games. Realistically we need to be expecting at least 9 points from those games although 4 straight home wins aren't out of the question really.

In between there, we have Chesterfield and Walsall away. Chesterfield are falling away from the top 6 at a frightening pace, with 4 defeats and 2 draws in their last 6 games. They haven't even scored in their last 3 games. Walsall on the other hand seem to have turned a corner after 3 straight defeats by winning their last 2 games, including over the leagues form side, Notts County. However they've 5 more games to play before then, which is a long time in football, our away form should be good enough to see us through as seemingly we seem to thrive away from home.

We SHOULD be at least top 8 after christmas is over

Is the Colchester game on Sky or just moved because of the England game?

Time now to up the home form as the away form is top six standard but home form still bottom half.

    Cole needs a rest.

Yep. Ideal chance to start Hemmings or Lita next week, or both even.

And rest Dudgeon. His knees will feel the benefit.

I would expect seven points from them to be honest.

Despite really good results in the last few weeks against the likes of Bradford, Sheff United and Bristol City, these next three games could leave us in a cracking position at the end of the month with play offs well with in our sights. The two home games are key against lower league opposition and the Chesterfield game could go either way, even though I would expect a point.
