It looks that way. At this stage in his development there is nowhere else he should be. Man City would absolutely ruin him like they do with most English talent they sign up (Rodwell and Sinclair to name two). Everton I could probably see at some point if Martinez starts seeing us as a feeder club.
Ideal scenario could be that we get a few million for him & get him back on a long term loan deal so he continues to play plenty of proper football & won't end up on the scrap heap. Whilst he's a talented lad & very promising especially for his age he doesn't have stand out ability like Stones did where he was just about our best player game after game
I've not seen much of Bree apart from a few games but surely he can't be as good as Stones? Stones really stood out to me as one of the best young players I have ever seen in a Barnsley shirt - amazing composure and technical ability for one so young, that is very rare.
No he's definitely not as good as Stones, though he's younger than Stones was when he made his debut so I guess he's got time on his side to develop. Bree's just looked on a par with his team mates where as Stones stood out
No he's not as good as Stones. Stones looked too good for us in an harder league. Bree is as good as his team mates and our best defender in a lower league. He's still worth a few million though.
But suppose if club rate him more it suggests they will want more than what they got for Stones. Which is only a good thing
