Off topic.... is it legal to shoot a sparrowhawk?

    I've had a search on the Web and I've seen people say that the ban on shooting sparrowhawks was lifted and others saying it can carry a prison sentence!

    The horrible little ****er killed 3 of my fantail doves this morning so it leaves us having to hand rear 2 pairs of chicks.

    I know you're not gonna like this, but the sparrowhawk is just doing what it evolved to do. It's not some nasty fcuker hawk with a grudge against pigeons. It sucks that you lost them, but it would be very illegal and very wrong, for you to blow it away. Sorry.

    Yeah I get that mate, just gets the blood boiling! We've road our luck for a while with them actually as we back onto the river and our garden is wide open at the back. We've had bother with them from cats but our dog is I'm the garden most days so they've stopped coming down. Just a little frustrating that it happens and there's nowt you can do.

    exactly, had a guy round me had one of the little *******s decimate his pigeons, but hes got somemore and the problems gone................... wierack 80

    Because it's against the law to record people without telling them before hand, thats why you see CCTV in operation signs where ever it's installed. And I'm pretty I read It's the same in the street it's illegal to record people without their consent due to privacy laws.

    Is it? I thought it was completely legal to take photographs or make video recordings in a public place. Aren't CCTV warnings there purely as a deterrent?
