Cranie was indeed a Rolls Royce today.

Trotta was no Reliant Robin either. His touch is classy.

    We have ammunition upfront

    And a solid rearguard

It's taken a few new bodies, and the nous to stick existing pegs in the correct holes.

We're still a bit fragile but we can go places with these players.

Worst LB? Dudgeon? Gior. Had a couple of poor games, otherwise he's been decent.

    Yeah alright
We're having a party where I sit when he makes his first forward pass
Might be once he's left us though

I don't know what game you're watching. Entitled to your opinion though.

Anyone for us who gets whitewesh on his booits gets a fair bit of undue criticism. Proximity to stands methinks.

Not a criticism but a point of view; Nyatanga to me still looks clumsy/ uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, headers etc, no problem, Dudgeon still looks a little nervous but maybe due to the diamind we are playing instead of having a winger to back him up.

We will ALWAYS have weak points in our team, but then again we arent in the Premier league, YET. ..

Thought Nyatanga had a solid game today. Dudgeon was clumsy and a bit off the pace though - needs to improve. Alround though, I thought the team performance was excellent. Any other game (had Winnall not had such a stormer), Cranie would have got MotM for me. Excellent contribution alround.

    Just saying...

**** sake the lad has less than 50 first team games and is still finding form and fitness after a very serious injury.

He's a good player and will hopefully go from strength to strength.

Hope we sign him in January.

There were those slagging off Sam winnall about 7 games ago too....

    Annoying innit?

Clearly not at Bramall Lane last week either where he was the standout player and put over a 'forward' ball that Winnall nearly put away.

He plays like a player who's confidence is shot to bits, but why ? what's made him this way ? Every time the backwards pass is on he makes it , is it because he doesn't want to give the ball away and be out of position, or as he simply not got the ability to pass forward, with our busy front four the option is always there but he rarely takes it, he'll cross it on the odd occasion when gets beyond players to the byline, but seems to suffer from the same thing most our players that's played in his position of late and that's having the foresight and ability to cross the ball from deep. He might settle into being a fantastic player but let's not kid ourselves theirs no sign of that just yet

I'm not seeing what you're seeing, pal. Maybe you're right and I'm wrong, but to me he's decent and I see nowt to moan about after today, nor last week where I had him down as MOTM.

Bloke in font of me says he dose well at what he dose but he doesn't do enough, and I agree to a extent, maybe you're right in your view on him and you are in terms of last week away from home he seems good at what you have to do away from home soak up pressure and play it simple, at home I want to see more positive play and a bit of balls to try things, he makes mistakes and looks shaky at times wile trying to do the simple things though, so he may as well have a go at being a lot more positive in his distribution it just might breed a bit of confidence into the lad.

Joe has hardly played much last few seasons , and is probably not 100% over his injuries . Defended well at Sheffield and had a steady game yesterday

he had a nightmare spell, no doubt about it. he looked truly awful. hopefully his confidence and consistency will start to come back. yesterday's game against the park XI isn't anything to measure him by though

This terrible team you keep talking about. The one in the play-offs in the league below, just 3 points off the top spot. Could it be that it was our excellent play that made them look so bad? Is that possible?

I've noticed that. He passes backwards alot more than he passes forward and it doesn't go unnoticed by fans who make it known to him by shouting to pass forward.

Not sure how decent our back four is yet. We've kept back to back clean sheets against a team with one up front and one in the league below.
