Can someone please recomend something that can help me do this please?..............I used windows media to copy music cds into the computer, then selected various tracks to record onto a blank recordable cd to make a 'mix tape'. This worked fine but the cd will only play in the computer, it wont play on a machine or in the car. Could someone please recomend what I need to use in order to play on everything? Many thanks in advance

my guess is you've just stuck some mp3 files on a disc, rather than copied them as audio files. if you have, you either need to create the cd again, or by a cd player that reads mp3 discs

    i reckon...

Look for some CD recording software that records files as audio CDs. Almost all do this nowadays (I used to use Nero Burning ROM back in the day).

Also make sure your CD player can play "data" CDs - most do but some older models will only take audio CDs.

    google and download cdburnerxp

its free and will burn your mp3 files to a cd as an audio cd that you can play anywhere

just remember when installing free software to click custom and do not download or skip any other software it offer you to downlaod and install during the install process
