It is apparently on the front page of the Sun this morning that the Dee Dahs are finally going to do the right thing and say no to Evans returning.
it is probably ******** cos it is in the Sun, but if true then they will have caved because, and only because of the circle of **** that is enveloping them. I hope they reflect on how badly they have handled the whole thing.

If it is true, can I now register at this early stage my vehement opposition to him darkening our door.
    thank you.

Genuinely can't see any British club signing him until/if he clears his name. Think he'll end up abroad.

Will he be able to move abroad being a convicted rapist? Be easier for him to move here from abroad seeing how we are

You're spot on. If they don't sign him there is only one reason and it has taken weeks of public backlash and the loss of patrons for them to finally back down. Disgusting club.

doubt hel be able to go anywhere for a while - isnt he still under some sort of sentence after serving the custodial part. Cant see him been able to leave the country until the other part is done - but i dont know a great deal about such things...

I think he's out on licence until his full sentence is served. I don't think he would be allowed to go abroad. Not without a long human rights court case anyway.

Do the Blades still have links to Ferencvaros and Chingu Blades?

If so, I can see him moving to one of those for a couple of seasons, then moving back

The Blunts will stand up ever so proudly and say they have "done the right and proper thing having taken into account the opinions of their loyal fans" and expect to have praise heaped upon them from all sides! Having ducked at the last minute before the **** really hit the fan will have nothing to do with it!

They have nearly as many morals as Sepp Blatter if you ask me!

Don't sex offenders have to give up their passports at least while on licence anyway?

I read Ponty72's post and I believe he is correct as you may well be.

I don't see any club taking a chance on him. Sheffield Utd must realise that by not making a decision they are making things worse.

IMO the blunts board were expecting some flak but thought with the blessing of the PFA and the silence of the FA they could ride it out and sign him After it had died down a bit.
Not in their wildest nightmares did the expect the crap they churned up.but its all deserved from for the board IMO by not showing moral compass in the first place .
But the biggest crime IMO for a chairmen is to sit in silence whilst the supporters tear each other to pieces, I know its amusing for other fans but tbf I always put myself in the ordinary supporters position regardless of club loyalty and it must be heartbreaking to watch your club almost spontaneously combust just to protect a convicted felon who has committed a heinous crime to come to a club whom he would happily have left if a big money offer had come his way in normal circumstances.loyalty is only one way in football and its the fa s that gets the worst deal as we're just cash cows.
Kevin McCabe and allies take a bow.
As for idiotic, moral lacking and brainless fans I think every club has got them IMO even us.
