......absolutely average. Lost as many as we have won. Conceded as many as we have scored. Scored a fair few. Conceded a fair few. There is thus the opportunity to argue about our position both positively and negatively, depending upon your perception of where we ought to be. But we are average at the moment. League wise. Onwards and errr............equatorial
the football has been exciting for any number of reasons. despite the stats it would be hard to call it average this season
It's more exciting because we're not in recent times used to being anything other than anchored near the bottom of the league above. The Championship held it's own thrill for me - trying to "punch above our weight". Yet a certain misery about Madame Guillotine dropping had begun to weigh heavily. Plus the money. With football it is money money money. Whilst it's been great to win a few games, the crowd has not yet been sold a secure future. We are perhaps not far off though. At least now at Oakwell we entertain as much as the visitors.
******* hell we're not perfect, but if you don't at least enjoy some of it, you might as well **** off. Too many waiting for the next loss, so they can have a Nairn about summart.
Thank you for that measured reponse. I said "it's been great to win a few games". and that there is hope. But don't let that restrain you. Off you go with more personal abuse
We got off to a bad start we are improving won three on bounce unbeaten scince notts county rather look at our season like that.
Mmmm.....if you look at the original post it does give you the positive/ negative option. No wish to choose though At one time earlier in the season we could have gone second. We still need a team for 90 mins.
Can't agree with that. We've won our last 2 games, which means we've been below average and now we're slightly above average which has brought our season so far to an average conclusion. But at present i'd say we're competing just above average. Onwards and upwards.
