Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni Thought he was a groundsman?
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni No Eric Winstanley. Nudger where have you been this last 10 years!
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni He's been scouting for QPR up until last week.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni Best of luck to yer fatha. It's difficult for any of us to have any kind of good thoughts for Leeds, but I can't possibly wish your old man and Redders anything but the best. How do you reconcile wanting them to do well but Leeds to fail? Dunno, summat I'll have to try to get my head round.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni Its a quandry, I'll give you that. Leeds have always been the club I look for first to see if they have lost. Now I find myself, kind of hoping that they win. Redders is a champion bloke, so I think I'm going to have to think of it as him winning and Leeds don't exist.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni We could start calling them Redders United and pretend Leeds doesn't exist? From now on no mention of Leeds to be ever made again on the BBS.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni I like that. We should also imagine White to be red from now on.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni The child in me definitely likes the idea of blindly denying their existence
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni That's ace. 'Redders won today' Yep, ace that.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni Redders 2 Massives 0. Sounds good to me though I've all us been fond of the nickname White ***** myself.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni There's a Keith playing in Scotland.......
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni Went to school with blunty, he was 3 or 4 years younger than our group when he moved up from Cornwall, used to call him pasty and try and kick him all around ings lane but he was always too good for us!! Mark guest too, played for Wednesday at youth level, when they released him Danny rang him up and offered him a trial at Oakwell but he couldn't be bothered, fell out with football etc
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni It certainly leaves me in unfamiliar territory as there are certain people who's involvement with BFC means I can't ever want anything but success for them and Redders and Eric are two of them. Its a strange old feeling wanting to see Leeds do well and something I'm not entirely comfortable with so I think the Redders Utd idea is the best way to get my head around this conundrum.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni This is now the mother ******* law.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni And the penalty for breaking the law is enforced attendance at Bumhole Lane. Wearing an Evans shirt.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni And a Barry Town playing in Wales. Still hope that one day they both qualify to play in the preliminary rounds of one of the European competitions. Barry 2 Keith 1
Cooincidenally, that's the current score int dominoes match in New Lodge Club that I'm watching. Weird
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni There's another 'first name team' playing in the Scottish lower echelons, but (a) I couldn't remember their name and (b) couldn't be arsed to Google it.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni I've always liked Leeds as my dad was a season ticket holder for many years before and just after I was born and my mam always took an interest in them too. They both converted to Barnsley before I was aware of football but I've always kind of liked Leeds because of it so I don't find it difficult to wish them well.
Re: That time you woke up after a nightmare and thought your Dad worked for Leeds Uni And a Peter Head
