Saturday is all I'm looking forward to. Cannot come quick enough!

To be honest, I've only taken an interest in England since Stones started playing, seen as he's injured I shall be continuing with my kitchen conversion rather than watch that tripe.

I could not give a flying one. Not overly interested even for meaningful games - this is just 90 minutes that nobody needs. Evening out for the knuckleheads, no doubt.

I'd quite like Scotland to win just to see the reactions of the plastics and the tabloids. I've felt no affinity with the England football team for many years. Saturday @ Chessy is what I'm looking forward to.

I was at the England v Scotland game at Wembley last year with a couple of Scottish pals. They commented afterwards that they couldn't believe how quiet the English fans were, I had to try to tactfully explain that the match really wasn't a big deal to England, our main rivals being a bit better than Scotland, a situation like Grimsby fans thinking a match against Barnsley was a big deal when we save our enthusiasm for games against the Blunts, Wendies and Weeds.

Load of ballax obviously, England fans are always quiet at Wembley but why let the truth get in the way of a pop at the Jocks?

I'll probably watch it though the days when it used to matter circa Gerry Francis, Keegan, Euro 96 etc have long gone I'm afraid.

What purpose does it serve? Why have a friendly against opposition that will try to kick us off the park? It's a total waste of time and is a no win situation as far as England are concerned. If we win, well we're ranked about 50 places higher than them - so what, it's expected? If we lose, the jockos will live off it for the next 5 years. It's their world cup final and there'll be some nasty tackles flying in. I'll wager that at least one England player goes off injured and his League manager will be moaning about why they were risked.

CBA - struggled to get any enthusiasm for the match which mattered last Saturday - A Friendly against Scotland I am unlikely to watch - though I may stick the highlights on if there are lots of goals or Rooney gets sent off

If these posts are repeated on BBs across the country then the FA should be worried. It is surely only a matter of time before this detachment of the fans translates to a serious drop in numbers and viewing figures. Personally I only give a s*it about BFC these days and, living in Italy that doesn't, unfortunately, translate to financial support but just following via the BB.

About half of the team I work with on a daily basis are based in Inverness. Most of them will comment if we lose. So only for that reason. Not going to watch it myself.

For an Englishman living in Scotland this game is massive. If England lose it will be unbearable.

I'm actually looking forward to tonite more than I was for any of the qualifiers. Be a proper game. Atmosphere will be immense.

As I understand it the audience was bigger for a game show (Pointless I think) on Saturday than for the England match. I may watch an England game at some point in the future if John Stones is playing, but right at this moment I can't imagine watching another international game or European game ever again. I really have no interest in football any more outside of Barnsley FC. I may occasionally tune into a match if there is a realistic chance of a 22 man pitch brawl if I have nothing better to do. I didn't even bother with the Cup Final last year.
