    At first it was in midfield after he took off Hery, which was a baffling decision, but after a couple of more subs he was part of the front three in the last 25 mins. Always looking to shoot - the type of directness we needed. Clinical finish.

    He's scored some spectacular goals for us. Unfortunately his general play has never been all that good. Hope he can do it for you. Preferably so he can return to us, but if he needs a move away to prove himself then so be it. I want him to make it, even if it's not with Barnsley.

    Pleased for RNL a thoroughly likeable kid. Let's hope he can get in Dale's team and score 4/5 more by January to present Danny with a dilemma. He has scored the odd stunning goal for us and then for numerous reasons not carried this forward.
