My only real issue with immigration is that we simply dont have the housing levels to sustain it and it is causing our countryside to be eaten into in order to fit everyone in. I believe the london biased government wont be happy until the rest of england is as overcrowded as london. Jealous of our green spaces so they simply remove them.

The solution? Welcome immigration but no social housing to be provided to immigrants (asylum seekers and refuges not included) under any circumstances regardless of how long they have been here.

As for building industrial units on our green spaces. Well if there werent already thousands of units standing empty then it would be fair enough but there are. Everywhere you look there are to let signs and I fail to see how adding yet more to let signs will help anything or anyone

 

At least he didn't know. We had a volunteer Canal clean up yesterday with the Canal and River Trust, 10-00 till 3-00, our two Councillors turned up at 10-15 got on the volunteers photoshoot and left at 10-55.

 

The council at Barnsley do as they please safe in the knowledge that whatever they do they will still be voted back into office when they next have to put up.

There was a meeting last week with some residents of Stairfoot regarding the proposed gypsy site to be put down Grange Lane and some very convincing reasons why this site should not be put there were put to the council representative, but in my opinion the meeting was not even worth calling because choose what the concerns of these residents were they were going to be totally ignored and not listened to.this council could do with a complete clear out

 

In fairness to mr jarvis he has now been in touch with a valid explanation.

Dan's a decent bloke. Not all MP's are tossers. You want to try having Galloway as your MP.

All my dealings with Dan have been spot on. Answered my email's and tweets. Even had a letter from House of Commons and a Christmas card from him.

Pushed the Chesterfield Walk for us as well.

Dan Jarvis only came to Barnsley as he was nailed on to get in as an Mp. I bet he had to Google it to find out where we actually were.

As for Barnsley Council, they're a complete waste of space but as a previous poster said, they will always get voted in. God alone knows how much money they have wasted over the years. However it dunt matter as Mr Houghton has got his knighthood now. What the fek for is another matter.
