    After reading the BBS for years , i thought i better register ( took me a while being a technophobe like ! )
    Anyway on another note i was one of them there madheads that walked to Chessy last Setdy, would be good to know who the others were i.e what they post as on here.

    Welcome Juddy, I was the one that was well prepared with phone chargers, socks, plasters etc. and was also keeping a check on the pace / time.

    Although it wasn't until we got to the Costa Coffee up Heeley Retail Park, that I realised the watch I was wearing was still set to British Summer Time (1 hour in front). So rather than be 30 mins behind, we were 30 mins ahead. Which explains why we got to the Toby Cavery pub in Dronfield at 10:45 some 45 mins ahead of schedule.


    Looking on the bright side, it meant an extra 45 mins in the pub ;)

    I was the fat bugger (still am) that did (as part of an agreement for a bigger sponsorship) the walk in a Chesterfield away shirt and forgot to take it off when I went into the ground (I had a Barnsley shirt on the top in the match).
