    When I was a kid they used to walk a bulldog round the pitch before the game. Can't remember if it was known as Toby though.

    Not connected but I am sure we were allowed to play on the pitch at half time. Anyone else remember or have I been dreaming.

    In 1912 the mascot was a donkey called amos and yes the bull dog was called toby
