    After the last three passionless and lacklustre displays I have had the misfortune to witness, I'm slightly concerned about this one.

    The Chester fans are really up for this, the players will be too. I just hope ours are.

    I'll be putting a shift in. But not at Oakwell unfortunately. Somebody has to pay for xmas. I hope I get home in time to listen to the second half and that we get through to the next round where the greedy clubs enter.

    Our fans won't be that's for sure. They were shouting at the players for backpasses when we were 5-0 up during the last Cup match, god knows what they will be like on Sunday. I might take a pair of earplugs with me.

    top effort pal. will be good to see you all. seriously, after our last 3 woeful performances, you have every reason to think you can come and be competitive. i'm expecting it to be a lot more even than it looks on paper.

    We have lost Matty Hughes back to Fleetwood today which is a real blow, but, he didn't play against Southend so who knows.

    So John Rooney is now playing in the Conference and has scored 8 goals in 45 games. We signed him as a Championship club.

    We have crap fans that's why. I watched Southampton get battered by man city against 10 men at home and didn't hear one boo yet we play one pass back to a defender we go nuts asif we've been liquidated in the middle of the game! No wonder the players are scared to do owt

    They were second in the table and lost against a club with one of the biggest budgets in the world and they didn't moan?? **** me. Those fans deserve a medal for their loyalty. Someone arrange immediately.

    I remember those days, 5-0 down to Chelsea in the Prem and everyone to man singing 'we're going to win 6-5', team cheered from the first whistle of the season to the last, players carried shoulder high and we'd been relegated. Believe you me if Southampton were where we are now they'd be booing every back pass
