Totally agree with jay couldn't put it better myself so not even gonna try.
By the way Farage wasn't branded a racist just on last nights viewing so I assume you haven't taken in much of his past encounters with the media and public.
    Well done Russell

having read some of your stuff I think you and brand did the same comedy correspondence course but hey there's always sheep prepared to jump on the latest faddy bandwagon, was it lee and herring all those years ago, done really well for themselves got a cult following ( excuse the spelling), I do rate lee mack, Morecombe and wise will always be the yardstick because they were genuinely funny, McIntyre is as funny as an ingrowing toenail on a 1 legged man

I don't rate Brand that much as a comic. But he's a lot more amusing than McIntyre.

Agree on Vine. Watched a dvd of his expecting it to be boring after a few gags, but I really enjoyed it.

Not seen Billy Connolly in years. Great in his pomp though.

I love Flanagan on the quiz/comedy programmes and short stints on stage in other comedy shows but I watched his live show that was on tv a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed tbh.

Don't like Carr. Not forgot his tax issues. And he grates on me with that forced laugh.

Frankie Boyle I like, in small doses.

Flanagan is a bit meh for me.

Farage is just a more right wing version of a Euro-sceptic Tory. Simple. He doesn't give a **** about the man in the street. As long as he gets his vote. If he hadn't realised that there's plenty of mileage in the immigration/EU membership issue he would probably be a Tory back bencher. He's an even bigger ****** than Keith Hill but is he a racist? Debatable.

Immigration or as has been said, freedom of movement within the EU, is an issue. It's not the main issue but it is still a problem. People from Britain, Germany, France or the Netherlands can go and work in Slovakia, Romania or Bulgaria, but very few would want to. Plenty of Romanians want to come West though - and with good reason. What's the solution? I'm not sure there is one.

Your being a bit selective with countries tbh its the European union you have to count them as an entity not selectively.
Spain, portugal, greece a d Italy are bearing a far bigger portion of freedom of movement than we are.amongst them thousands upon thousands of Brits.i predict there are hundreds of thousands more Brits in spain than the versa.it has been quoted that if the Britons from all the worlds countries were asked to move back and anyone not from britain asked to move out we would have a bigger population than now.
Tbh you are probably right about garage not being racist because IMO its a smokescreen for his rabble party to try and flourish and it takes pressure off his rich big city friends.
It's marvellous how they keep telling us how full our country is by can manage to find hu dress and hundreds of acres of land for any of their rich friends.

I'd be surprised if British people are migrating to Greece and Portugal. Some to the Costa del Sol I can believe but otherwise I don't think there is much incentive given the state of their economies.

If anything I'd say more people are coming from those countries to the UK.

    Surprised ?really ?
I know people from work who have year round property's in those country's you mention and mix with a very large contigent of ex pats in fact on some islands the expat community is almost on a par with the natives.
Bulgaria is also getting very popular both coastal and mountain with Brits going out to work/retire.
How long are we going to tolerate companies asking agencies to recruit from certain countries then exploit their living conditions end up working for low pay contrary to what they were promised .then we blame them for coming and not the companies/agencies etc.
Those are the questions Garage doesn't want to ask.

I can vouch for Portugal, I know quite a few who live over there. Seems to be amongst a lot of other English people too.

    In summary........its foooking ballax

'plans must be put in place to disperse immigrants throughout the country'..........such a comment has got to come from someone that just dunt think straight

'Nar then mister Romanian person.......you will live in Blackburn........and tha cant leave Blackburn.........is that alreight wi thi?

Not only barred from crossing the boundaries of countries.........but barred from crossing Metropolitan areas within a country............NOW THAT REALLY is starting to look like racism of the highest order that would even put 1950s America to shame
